Portfolio
I’m that kid that couldn’t sit still, so my creative toolbox is pretty jampacked; you’d be hard-pressed to find a wool-based textile art I haven’t tried. These are my favourite ways to express creativity and communicate ideas, and what I’m currently taking clients and commissions in! Chat about a project with me here.
ANIMATION
Bringing moments, ideas, characters and everyday objects to life has been a passion project that’s then spilled over into professional settings. Animation feels like the final sprinkling of magic on an already excellent project or design.
Illustration
Long-limbed people, organic and patterned shapes, casual hand lettering and patterns - my digital illustration folio’s got it all. And we have an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil to thank for it. These digital pieces often morph into animations and textiles, which is fun!
Art Direction
I love being on set in an Art Director role, overseeing all visual creative elements and ensuring that the concept of the brief is being met. I’m a real people person, so getting to work with other talented creatives is the best bit of this gig.
Branding + Graphic Design
Since graduating from Design College Australia in 2016, I’ve worked on a variety of branding and design projects. I love working with clients to establish vision for their project, and then outwork that vision with great colours and personality-packed type and iconography. Saying a lot with a little is my branding mantra.
Patterns
I love giving artworks another purpose after being standalone pieces - turning paintings and illustrations into patterns allows me to place them in homes, on products and in digital spaces they wouldn’t have fit otherwise.
Paintings
Experimenting with shapes and textures on canvas kept me sane throughout 2020 lockdowns, and continues to be a great outlet for some less-structured creativity when I’m fighting a losing battle with an InDesign file.
